UW aims to wrap up Pac-10 title this week!

WASHINGTON LOOKS TO WRAP UP 2005 PAC-10 CHAMPIONSHIP AT HOME The 3rd-ranked Washington volleyball team (23-1, 14-1 Pac-10) hosts OSU and Oregon this Thursday & Friday. The Huskies currently hold a three-match lead in the Pac-10 standings with three matches remaining in the regular season. The Huskies are one win away from clinching their second-consecutive conference title. Washington won its first Pac-10 crown last season with a 16-2 conference record.

NCAA TOURNAMENT: The 2005 NCAA Volleyball Championship Tournament is just around the corner! There is a very good chance that the University of Washington will be selected to host first and second round matches at Bank of America Arena. Tournament selections will be announced on Sunday, November 27th, at 12:30 pm on ESPN News. If UW is selected to host, matches will be held on Friday & Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd.
