i just happened upon this site because I was looking for information about the August 18th Middle Bass tourny. This seems like a pretty cool place, so I just registered myself up!!
I grew up in Michigan and moved to Ohio to play Div. 1 college volleyball and have been there ever since. I'm a 5'11 left hander and was one of those players that actually ENJOYED going to practices every day. I'm still that kind of person. I'll just about drop anything to play some good competitive ball.
I have been playing USVBA for the past several years and absolutely love it!!I'm a right side hitter and a defensive specialist.
I coached j.v. volleyball for 7 yrs. Took last year off but I've been getting that urge to get back into it.
I live around Youngstown, so if anyone knows of some tournys or competitive leagues (A/Open levels), or someone looking for another player- within an hour drive or so- I would definately drive out there for it!
I was wondering about the August 18th tourny. How big is it? The level of competition? I have a team that can play A/Open and might register for it, but was hoping to hear more info about it. I would appreciate any info.
