Hello VBLI members! I've been playing for a couple of years now and have been bitten hard by the volleyball bug. I was in a company league for awhile, then a corporate league and, amazingly enough, both newly formed teams won the championship matches. I know that the competition level is a lot more intense 'on the outside' and am looking to hone up my skills with some better and more experienced teams and players. I'm 36 years old and live in Villanova, PA. I prefer hitting and serving but have been becoming a better and better setter/passer every day. I'm 6 ft 2 inches tall and am in decent shape. Please respond back if you know of any leagues or teams in the Philly/Main Line area who are in need of an athletic player who might not have all the fundamental volleyball skills down...yet...but is a very dependable, coach-able and fun team player. Sounds like you have the perfect attitude and drive to make volleyball your obsession; just like us. You've found the perfect webspot for that too. I wish there were more "dependable and coach-able" people around here (CT). We could start our own army (or just a really badass volley club). Best of Luck to you in finding everything you seek.
