Hey Glen sorry I missed your tourney, I hear things are going well for you with the 20 something crowd. Here is the scoop on VBall in the city. Open Play. Friday- Brandeis High School (84th Amsterdam) B Laguardia High School (64th and Amsterdam) BB/A -starts around 7 must get there well in advance to sign in Sunday- brandeis; must get there around 11 am to get on a court(BB) -Central Park- north of the great lawn behind the hoops court, 2 courts of open play. Very crowded so come with your squad set -Battery Park city. gorgeous long court right by the pier. very rarely used. Leagues: Ranking of NYC leagues in terms of quality of play 1) Urban Professional 2) Big City 3) Zog Sports 4) THere is a gay only League (metro) which I am not allowed to play in(doh!), but is generally regarded as the strongest run in the city |
